Ballet

Ballet is my favorite kind of dance. When I was younger, I always wanted to be a principal ballerina, and I still do. But i think you have to start at a really young age in order to get the best training. I also always wanted pointe shoes. I have a pair of some now. I got my pointe shoes from Bloch. Keeping Your Room Clean And Organized

I do multiple different things to keep my room clean and organized and I would like to share them with you. Here are 15 steps that you can take into consideration when cleaning and organizing your room.

  1. Turn on music.
  2. Remove everything that is on the floor and throw it into a box or basket.
  3. Start putting things the are in the box where they should go.
  4. Empty out your clothes drawers and wash everything if you have not worn it in a while.
  5. After everything is washed, fold it and place it in your drawer neatly.
  6. If you have a desk, you can remove everything and re-organize it.
  7. In your closet, divide three sections or more and set uniforms in one section, shirts in another, and dresses in the last one.
  8. Organize school books.
  9. Organize school papers
  10. Organize personal stuff
  11. Take dirty laundry to the washer machine.
  12. Put away new clean laundry.
  13. Collect things you want to throw away/give away.
  14. Do any other stuff.
  15. Finished

Swimming

Swimming is one of my favorite activities to do in the summer. Swimming strengthens your muscles. Here are ten interesting facts about swimming!

  9. Swimming was a noble skill for the Japanese samurai.
  10. Swimming reduces your stress, anxiety, depression.

These facts are very interesting. Swimming is a great exercise for your body.

Dance

Dance is an excellent form of physical exercise. There are many different kinds of dance. There is ballet, hip hop, contemporary, jazz, ballroom, and tap, to name a few.

Let’s begin with ballet. Ballet happens to be my personal favorite. Ballet first originated during the Italian Renaissance in the fifteenth century. In ballet, everyone has their own technique. There have been many famous ballerinas, throughout history. Here are a few, Anna Pavlova, Misty Copeland, Galina Ulanova, Darcey Bussell, Paloma Herrera, and Julie Kent. Out of all of these people, Misty Copeland is the person I admire the most. Here is why ballet is a great physical activity. Ballet take lots of strength. In order to do a lot of the positions in ballet, you must be strong. Your body is constantly moving.

Hip hop is another great from of dance for many reasons. In hip hop, you move very quickly. Hip hop is not only great cardio, it is also great for strengthening muscles. This goes for all dance, not just hip hop. Dance can relieve any stress from throughout you day. Dance definitely helps me relieve stress from any thing that I am worried about.

Contemporary is used with many different dances. It can be used with ballet too. Contemporary is a lot less strict than ballet. It can also be said as more of a freedom feel to it. Instead of classical like a lot of other dances, contemporary can be similar to hip hop. Contemporary keeps your heart rate higher. It also keeps you moving.

Jazz is a dance type that originated in the United States in the twentieth century. Jazz dance can be referred to vernacular, broadway, and/or theatrical jazz. Jazz is a smooth dance. There is also jazz music, which I am not much of a fan of. Just like any other dance, jazz keeps you moving.

Ballroom is another style of dance. There are multiple kinds of ballroom dances. Here are a few, waltz and tango. In the tango, you move at a pretty fast pace. And in the waltz, you move at a slower pace. Ballroom dancing can be a good dance style that get’s your heart rate up like any other kind of dance.

Tap dancing take coordination and focus due to how fast your feet move. Tap gives you a ton of exercise in the legs and feet. It keeps you moving. This means it also keeps your heart rate quite high.

Sleep

Everyone needs sleep. Depending on what you do in the day, you can get good sleep and bad sleep. Here are some general facts about how to get good sleep:

  1. Periodically exercising throughout the day creates less of a struggle to fall asleep soundly, but try not to exercise 4 hour before bed.
  2. Caffeine can wake you up but it is best not to have any 3 hours before bed or it affects sleep and causes nightmares or it feels like you had no sleep the night before.
  3. In general, adults need 7-9 hours of sleep. Kids need about 8-10 hours of sleep.
  4. Hunger can be very common right before bed, food can cause nightmares. Try not to eat any food 1 hour before going to bed.
  5. Reading is a healthy habit but reading is not good right before bed. If it is an exciting book, it is almost impossible to read to put it down.
  6. People can be very thirsty before bed and dink tons of water. This is not healthy for sleep because you wake up in the middle of the night and have to go to the bathroom. This is very annoying because it interrupts precious time that you could be using for sleep.
  7. The best way to sleep is your back. If you sleep on your stomach, it can cause back and neck pain. These aching bones can affects your day at work or at school.

These 7 facts of sleep can help you get great sleep.

Glow and Grow

Glow and grow is an important concept. It is a mindset that focuses on improving yourself. To improve yourself, you need to think about what is good about yourself, the glow. These could be things you do well in or that you like about yourself. Then you think about what areas you can improve on, the grow. These are things about yourself that you are not happy with. Glow and grow helps you a lot, not just in one way but in multiple ways.
